Terms of Use — On The Spot

Who it is for

On The Spot is for adults. You must be 18 or older, and old enough to drink alcohol where you live if you play any of its drinking modes. Some optional modes contain explicit and adult themes; they stay off until you switch them on.

Play responsibly

The app suggests dares, questions and "punishments". They are suggestions for a game, not instructions. Nobody ever has to drink, do a dare or answer a question, and every player should feel free to pass.

• If you drink, drink responsibly and within the law. Never drink and drive.
• Do not attempt anything that is unsafe, illegal or that anyone in the room is not comfortable with.
• You are responsible for what you choose to do while playing, and for any cards you write yourself.

Purchases

The app is free to download, with a free set of cards. On The Spot Full unlocks every mode and unlimited custom cards. You can get it as:

• Monthly or yearly subscription. Charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings, or in Google Play › Subscriptions.
• Weekend pass. A one-time purchase that unlocks Full for 3 days from the moment you buy it. It does not renew.
• Lifetime. A one-time purchase that unlocks Full for as long as the app is available.

Prices are shown in the app, in your currency, before you buy. Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms; we cannot issue refunds ourselves. If you change phones, use "Restore purchases" in the app's settings to get your purchase back.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use On The Spot for your own non-commercial entertainment. Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its cards. If you downloaded it from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app, add or change cards and modes, or update these terms. If the terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and continuing to use the app means you accept the new version.

No warranty and limits on liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, RedBeak LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for anything that happens as a result of choices you or your friends make while playing. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
