On The Spot is a party game you play in person, passing one phone around a table. It is built to need as little about you as possible.
Everything you create in the app is stored only on your phone, in the app's own storage. None of it is sent anywhere, and we cannot see any of it:
Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently. There is no account, no backup and no way to restore it, because there is nowhere for it to have been kept.
On The Spot has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party trackers. It does not ask for your contacts, your camera, your microphone, your photos or your location. It does not build a profile of you, and there is nothing about you for us to sell — we could not share your data with anyone even if we wanted to, because we never receive it.
If you buy a pack or a pass, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details, billing address or any other payment information.
To remember what you have bought — including on a new phone when you tap "Restore purchases" — the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for your install and the record of which products you purchased. It does not receive your name, your email address or anything you have typed into the app. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
On The Spot is intended for adults. It contains references to alcohol and adult themes and is rated accordingly on each store. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Any change that affects what leaves your device will also be called out in the app's release notes.
